About Izzi Smith

Izzi Smith is an SEO Manager at Sixt rent a car, where she takes care of the US and UK markets, but mostly contributes to global SEO strategies and projects.

She’s from Burnley, a town near Manchester in the North West of England, but moved to Munich in 2014 to pursue some German adventure, but mostly an internship in SEO at Sixt.

During her time in SEO, Izzi developed a strong passion for all things Search but especially got invested in Structured Data, Search Appearance, UX, awesome content, technical SEO and basically anything that doesn’t involve link building.

Her passions led her to begin speaking at conferences in 2018 and since then has been rated the best speaker at several top events: International Search Summit Munich, Searchmetrics Summit London and the SEOkomm in Salzburg, Austria.

Her scariest moment was speaking on the main stage at BrightonSEO and she has a completely unjustified fear of moths and butterflies.

Izzi’s interests outside of SEO are beer, video games, action films, RuPaul’s Drag Race, going to the pub, memes, and making people laugh.
